| The workshop will cover different IoT-based technologies used in automatic identification and localization, including • Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) • Near Field Communication (NFC) • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) • Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Participants of this workshop will deal with real hardware of components these technologies and explore their configuration and extraordinary applications. | He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Egypt in 1994, the M.Sc. degree jointly from the Fontys University and Technical University Eindhoven, Netherlands, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in computer sciences from Tohoku University, Japan, in 2006. In 2008, he joined the college of computer science and engineering at Taibah University, KSA. On 2012, he became the chair of networks and communications systems department. He is the author of several research papers published in the most reputable journals and conferences. He is the author of the book titled “Optical Networks: A Restoration Perspective with Active.” He is also the editor of the book titled "Wireless Sensor Multimedia Networks: Architectures, Protocols and Applications" published by CRC Press USA. | معلومات عن المدرب | • 1994م: حصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية من جامعة القاهرة بمصر • 1997م: حصل على درجة الماجستير المشترك من جامعة فونتيس والجامعة التقنية بهولندا • 2006م: حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في علوم الكمبيوتر من جامعة طوكيو باليابان • 2008م: التحق بكلية علوم الكمبيوتر والهندسة في جامعة طيبة بالمملكة العربية السعودية • 2012م: أصبح رئيس قسم أنظمة الشبكات والاتصالات بجامعة طيبة بالمملكة العربية السعودية • ألف العديد من الأوراق البحثية المنشورة في أكثر المجلات والمؤتمرات ذات السمعة الطيبة • مؤلف كتاب " Optical Networks: A Restoration Perspective with Active" • محرر كتاب " Wireless Sensor Multimedia Networks: Architectures , Protocols and Applications" الذي نشرته CRC Press USA • عضو كبير في IEEE. |
